I agree with you football fan...I'm not for rallies and shoving religion down anybody's throat. However, I won't go as far to say that religious zeal is a bad thing...don't know if you translate that to a negative or not but it sounded a little like you did. The reason politics has became corrupt is because we have let non-believers have their way and tell us that faith doesn't belong there. I agree that the church should not run state and that the two should be separate entities but to say that one does not affect the other is just being naive. If that was the way our forefathers intended then God would not have been mentioned so many times in the constitution. They take the piece of the constitution that says there should be separation of church and state and run with it when the main reason that was put there was because the colonist wanted the right to practice Protestant Christianity as opposed to being forced to be Catholics as many of them were in Europe. In addition, it says nothing in the constitution about separation of God and state which is what these liberal activist are trying to do.

I never heard you mention the topic of whether or not you think homosexuality is a sin...that was the point I was trying to make is that "so called" religious homosexuals are in denial that it is wrong in God's eyes.

Ofcourse GC Devil that is the point that I was trying to make and you explained it perfectly...I have heard a good number of homosexuals who are professing to be Christians and believe that being gay is not wrong in God's eyes. I really don't know where or how they came to this conclusion because obviously they have never opened the Bible and read any reasonable amount of it otherwise they would have been bound to come across the countless versus in which it is stated that homosexuality is reprobate, an abomination, and despicable in the eyes of God. Now I'm sure you will say that God loves all his children and yes you are right about that...loves the sinner and hates the sin, and I'm also sure that there are oodlon's and ion's of souls which God loved that split hell wide open because of their reprobate ways.

i had talked to him about it and he says that it is popular among homosexuals to stress the relationship and faith/belife/trust in God rather than anything that the Bible says

dont get me wrong, id never even consider becoming a homosexual b/c to me, its just sick...im just saying we all do bad things, and it wouldnt hurt to get to know the person rather thn condemning them b/c of something they do that we dont agree with

They apparently worship a different God or practice a different religion then because Christianity is based on The Holy Bible.

yeah but the funny thing is if you are gay claiming to be a christian and listening to gospel music then that don't amount to a hill of beans and you are still going to hell just as quick as a devil worshiper

i am not judging i am just telling what the bible says...i mean yes if they quit being gay and worship jesus then yeah they will go to heaven but otherwise it is stated in the bible where their final destination is...and in the bible it only says we should not judge it doesn't say you will go to hell for judging

so here is the question.....

not only gay people are sinning, all of us sin, and we are to ask God for forgiveness, correct

so what about all the other sins, any one in here have premarital sex, anyone in here curse using the lord's name in vain, any one in her not listen to their mother and father? I could go on and on. They going to hell too?

All sinners who don't ask for forgiveness of their sins and don't accept Christ as their savior are going to hell Craes according to the Bible...these sins you are talking about all of us know they are sins and agree on that, the point that was made is that many homosexuals are in denial that their lifestyle is a sin to begin with...therefore if they don't accept it as a sin then how are they going to ask for forgiveness for it and be saved?
